Paganella Open Weekend: inclusive and free

Three days with a program packed with free activities for people with disabilities!

gratis

In December, our mountains open their doors with the first Paganella Open Weekend: a weekend, from December 12th to 14th, to celebrate and experience a mountain without barriers, where everyone can experience the thrill of snow.

A three-day program packed with activities: from ski lessons with specialized equipment such as monoskis and dualskis, to horse-drawn carriage rides, to snowshoe hikes with our mountain guides.

All activities, including ski passes and equipment rentals, are offered free of charge to people with disabilities.

The only costs borne by participants are accommodation and meals.

Paganella Open is our project for a mountain without limits and barriers. Our goal is to make Paganella an accessible place, where everyone can experience the mountains according to their abilities and desires.

In collaboration with Dolomiti Open, Sportfund, mountain guides, ski instructors, and local guides, we are committed every year to increasing the number of initiatives and events on accessible routes suitable for people with mobility, vision, or cognitive impairments. These initiatives are integrated into the calendar alongside all other events, for a truly shared experience.

Visit Paganella is a territory that in its small way encloses the surprising nature of Trentino and offers unforgettable experiences at any time of the year! In a few minutes from the motorway exit you are already captured by an environment of rare beauty: the Brenta Dolomites that are reflected in the crystalline waters of the lakes of Molveno and Nembia, the Paganella that offers the most beautiful view of Trentino to trekkers and skiers, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and also the Parco del Respiro, the wildlife area, home to the large carnivores of the Alps and the characteristic vineyards and apple orchards of the Piana Rotaliana. 400 km of bike trails, countless paths for trekking lovers, 40 playgrounds, educational farms and themed paths among large meadows and woods, 50 km of wide and sunny ski slopes, 1500 plant species, 125 accommodation facilities, 22 refuges, over 40 wineries and farms and 8,000 chamois that live in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

The Dolomiti Paganella Tourism Company is also the first in Italy and one of the first in Europe to have become a benefit company to promote not only the riches and beauty of the territory, but also a new model of tourism based on sustainability and attention to the resident community.
